Dubai Economic Development Dept (EDD) has recognised IP Whiz as the best IP enforcement firm for the third year.

Ibrahim Behzad, Dubai EDD’s Director of Intellectual Property Rights Management, visited our Dubai office on 18 March 2021 and presented us with a trophy and three certificates. The firm was awarded for filing the most cases, and two of our colleagues were awarded for being the best raid coordinator and the best user of Dubai EDD’s IP Gateway online database.

When awarding us in previous years Dubai EDD has given special mention to our raid coordinators and the speed at which we obtain brand owner support. This year they noted the excellence of our researchers - our highly skilled colleagues who go out and find the targets for Dubai EDD to raid.

The manager of our research team responded: “We have the best job in the world. It’s stimulating, exciting and satisfying - especially when we see huge quantities of counterfeit goods seized. Now to have Dubai EDD recognise what we do, that's the icing on the cake!”
